RefSetter is a tool designed to work with Microsoft Word® to help create and organize numbered lists and is especially helpful when you need to refer back to numbers of the list. RefSetter takes advantage of Word fields and functions already inherent in Word and automates their creation and organization to make numbering fast and clean. When new numbers are inserted before one or more existing numbers, the existing numbers and all references to those numbers automatically get re-numbered to the next sequential number. RefSetter is useful as a patent drafting tool for patent practitioners in drafting sets of claims and analyzing documents such as prior art references containing claim numbers. RefSetter is also useful as an interrogatory drafting tool for creating and analyzing an interrogatory and other documents containing sequential numbered lists.

RefSetter is a stand-alone executable file that runs from your desktop or from a flash drive. RefSetter does not perform a typical program installation process. RefSetter requires .NET 3.5 or higher to work. RefSetter takes advantage of Word fields and functions already inherent in Word and automates their creation and organization to make numbering fast and clean.
